The North Korean Leader, Kim Jong Un, recently underwent a heart surgery according to CNN which was originally reported by Daily NK, and he has since been the subject of speculations and conflicting reports surrounding the status of his health. Just last week, April 15, he missed his grandfather's birthday which further fueled the growing worry about the health of the Leader. US National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien said on Fox News yesterday, that US was “monitoring the reports closely”. It should be noted that in the event that the worst happens, Kim's sister, Kim Yo-Jong, would be next in line if he is incapable of continuing as Leader of DPRK. Speedy recovery!
