Nigeria Sef..... the increase is as a result of more test.

MORE TEST MEANS MORE POSITIVE.

all in all there will be some political reward Post COVID-19. Trust Nigeria they know this and want to be involved by any means.

If u know u know.

This is getting serious, no wonder FG is making moves to pay palliatives.

They should at least help those that have not been opening their shops, those that didnt have alternatives

Bro you are right, ncdc are not feeling out correct figure, imagine in Osun there was 20 Convid-19 cases but as at yesterday they've all been healed and left for their respective homes and yet, ncdc still adding them on the list to make the figure go high. Why can't they remove the number of the states in which they have healed ConVid-19 cases and have discharged them. Besides, even this Lagos that is topping had had good number of infected people discharged but yet, this corrupt ncdc still muddling everything up for people to scare shit out of people. Well, my own is, they aren't been truthful or transparent with it and hence, there will be extension of lockdown to loot some more which I'm tired of, they release people to work and fend for themselves rather than locking down without no benefit, hunger is far more deadlier than this Convid 19 pandemic. Any extension should be revolted by people cos Convid 19 can't be ravaging people in the west while they are cashing out CCT money and even trader mini that's meant for business in convid 19 period in Kastina and other places in the northern part of our Country. No paliatives nothing to write home about. The next thing you'll see when they wanna extend the lock down is the president will say I have added another proxy or audio one million to the beneficiary of Conditional Cash transfer, which are all lies and even, if there is going to be any truth in it, you should be smart enough to know that Kano has just joined on board and the next 1m beneficiary are coming from there while people from West here will further be subjected to more time in hunger and abject poverty. People need to protest this to revolt the government from further locking down without bay visible paliatives to cushion the effect of this hardships emanating from Convid-19 pandemic.

I think our leaders will learn their lesson now. Hospitals had been grossly neglected over the years. I am sure they never thought of a time when they wont be able to travell out like this. Let the 6 geopolitical regions get at least one world standard hospital each. Such a case like this will be adequately handled

Na wa o. It's unfortunate this thing is hitting thousands in Nigeria. No thanks to the government of the day for neglecting vital preventive measures they were supposed to put in place. I'm only praying let's not witness what is seen in Italy, Spain and US. Let God help us cos obviously, we are helpless.

Also, with this rate, who says extension for lockdown won't continue? Which kind wahala be this sef. Me need to go back to my hustle o. I can't stay home any longer while hunger is ravaging at a more devastating rate than the Corona itself.
What preventive measures abegi? There's NO vaccine for Covid...
The ONLY preventive measures are isolation/lockdown and social distancing.

These preventive measures will only be effective...
If EVERYONE (including ORDINARY CITIZENS) buy into it.

Good luck to us all.

I used to think illiteracy varies directly as a person's inability to speak/write simple and correct English but I was wrong with my thinking. You have proved that a person's eloquence in English has zero correlation with his illiteracy.
You typed simple and correct English but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by ignorance

I rest my case

Our leaders never learn, once coro gets cure now ,everything will go back as usual,.

No new hospitals
No payment of salaries
No maintenance of hospitals
No purchase of new hospital equipment.

If you believe that report, then you can believe anything in this world...

I remember a video that leaked from Kano isolation center showing only 4 people when they initially claimed 21...funny enough the four people were busy discussing in Hausa that they don't have any virus... Adding that the government just wants tobuse them to make money...
There's NOT only one isolation center in Kano...
And sadly many asymptomatic Nigerians live in denial about Covid (witness the Benue woman).

kano had no recoded case today...Kano testing reagents finished ysterday so they was no test done in Kano ysterday that's why kano was not in the list

The greatest reason this cases keep growing in number is because people are dishonest with their travel history and contacts and are too selfish to protect themselves from infecting others.
...exactly! This will be our undoing. Nigerians áre inherently mendacious.

Nobody knows how far this thing will go, and no one can confidently say the pandemic will not reach certain places or people even including you, except those that the Almighty keeps. We must make our way right with God, there is nothing in this world worth running after, prepare for your eternity, that's what matters most for now. - THIS IS THE BITTER TRUTH!

So you think that you can keep people from moving about? It's impossible. Lock down only slows the spread it will still spread no matter what you do. It's to be proactive in fighting it. Ask people to go about their daily business with protective gear and social distancing. Most people with the virus will survive. It's death rate is too low, its less than 3 percent. It's only media hype that is making it scary. Malaria kills more than corona virus. The economy needs to be restarted else what will come next will be hungry and poverty. This one will affect the entire nation.
The earlier Nigeria becomes proactive the better.
Your comments and suggestions makes no sense.

If you believe that the number of deaths claimed so far by covid-19 pandemic worldwide is a sham, you need to take the back seat and hide your head in shame.

Stronger economies have had their operations halted due to the covid-19 pandemic. But here you are claiming that the economy needs to be restarted. These will lead to more deaths resulting from the spread of the covid-19 pandemic.

The government should up their game in providing palliatives instead.
