I think, it depends on your location, here, Glo is the fastest; about 2MB per second on 4G LTE. It's manageable here |

I had the same problem with yours, but what I did was I changed the simcard to another 4G network and everything became normal. Try changing the Sim card, if it persists, then try purchasing a router and use Airtel or MTN on it and it will automatically reduce the rate at which your data zaps off. With my router I am able to use 1GB of MTN data for one week (i.e with Intense usage).... It is well bruh |

Your analyses on glo and airtel are accurate. I use 9mobile too but the last time I loaded on it was January 2019 because of low internet speed, I don't know their update now. Few days ago, I switch to mtn, my most hated enemy, to my surprise, faster than whatever I could imagine an isp does in Nigeria. Only me dey run after the speed, I don't what may be their other side anyway but it's flying for now. I missed airtel tho, I can't wait for them to come back... |

I manage Glo because of the cheap data bonus.

They're all problematic. Slow connectivity and data zapping. But, MTN has a better connectivity over and above the rest. |

It actually depends on your location. If you reside in an area that is covered by MTN 4G network and you have a 4G enabled phone, then go for MTN. Another good thing about MTN is that their SME data plans are actually the cheapest. |

etisalat is the fastest. downlink speed of 6.0 to 9.0 mbps is not uncommon. |

I know that many have given their opinion but take mine and keep it forever. The best is MTN. Their motto "Everywhere you go" is truly right. I've used AAAALLLLL the mobile network for the past 8 years or so and I have made my conclusion that MTN favours all. GLO - Many are saying that GLO 4G Lite is the best when you have a 4G phone but mind you: your device goes back to 3G and 2G once in a while when you don't have a good connection. Then how can one rely on GLO when they can't get their 3G speed good enough and to be consistent, talk more of 4G which can fail at any time. The good side is that they have the best data plans among the rest but average talk plans. I'll give them a 6.2/10. Surprisingly, there data plans don't get exhausted quickly. 9mobile AKA Etisalat - They are good and I'll give them a 6.7/10. They offer good bonuses too like GLO and nice talk plans but sometimes they have poor network. Believe me, I have called the customer care to report this incident in my area for years now. They seemed not to be bothered. I got tired and bought an MTN SIM. They have amazing data plans like GLO and the data doesn't get exhausted quickly. Airtel - They have good data plans and nice talk plans. I compared their talk plans with MTN AT THE SAME CALL RATE FOR ONE MINUTE (11k/s) and Airtel consumed more airtime about 15 naira more. What I didn't like was that when my data wants to get exhausted I don't get a warning. It just ends and it data plans get exhausted a little faster too. They know what they are doing. Even when I buy a midnight bundle, I don't get to see my balance, why? Also, you can't just change easily to browse with with your credit or data bundle, which you can do with other network operators. They know what they are doing..... I reserve my comment o! Anyway, I'll give them a 7/10. They have incredible download speed of up to 2 MB/second in the night and 1-1.5 MB/second in the day for a 3G user. This is very fast. A 1GB movie will be download in less than 3 minutes. ***NOTE: I CAN SEE THAT YOU ARE USING CHROME TO DOWNLOAD, DON'T DO THAT. USE OPERA MINI. CHROME EATS YOUR DATA FAST EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE LITE MODE ON. IT DOESN'T, I REPEAT, IT DOESN'T SAVE DATA AT ALL. OPERA MINI BOOSTS YOUR DOWNLOAD SPEED UP A NOTCH. I REMEMBER USING CHROME AND MY DOWNLOAD FAILS MOST OF THE TIME. IT IS NOT YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER THAT IT CAUSING IT. You may notice that your internet connection flickers sometimes (IT IS NORMAL); Chrome notices that and your download will stop and show an error message. Using Opera Mini, it never happens, you can pause and come back to continue downloading days later. It automatically pauses if it notices a problem. REPLY IF YOU WANT MORE INFO ON IT.**** Finally, MTN - They have good data plans depending on your package like MTN Beta Talk MTN Pulse and the rest Call your service provider so that they can give you the best package that suits you. I was downloading once and the highest it download was 6.7 MB/second. One thing about MTN that other network lacks is its consistency. You can be downloading a movie at 700 Kb/Second and it will remain on that range till you finish although it may stop at some points and come up again. (The flickering I mentioned abobe which is quite normal) Talk plans are amazing though. I'll advise that you turn on data saver directly from your device if you have or download Google Datally. MTN tends too consume data though. But I just monitor them and it's worth it. Airtel is also consistent in download speed as MTN GLO is not consistent Etisalat is quite consistent too I know I went a bit too far to detail everything out, lemme stop now. Just read this through. Even though you don't pick MTN, go for the one you like as I tried to be fair . I listed their pros and cons too. Have a nice evening! 4 Likes |

MTN is the best, fast network, but their data plans is kinda expensive Airtel is the second best, their data plans is affordable, but if you subscribe for night plan they won't show you your balance unlike other networks Bottom line I suggest MTN |

Joemetry: Well you have to ensure that your phone has 4G LTE Band 28 (700mhz) to use Glo 4G. Check your phone specs. Not all phones have LTE Band 28 |

BluntTheApostle: It depends on how much you know about MTN. You can get 800mb with N200. Accumulation of 200mb for N50. New sim can give you 4gb for N500 mainly for download. Welcome back gives you 4gb with 1k naira. And their *121*3# can really surprise you. |

Horlufemi:Most glo user that complained of slow Internet always use a glo 4G LTE sim in a non-compatible glo 4G LTE phone. And some new and ported glo numbers do have 4G LTE connectivity problem. |
