i see a silver lining somewhere here...Chinese are moving some of their manufacturing units to other Asian countries with lower production cost..we can do that here..encourage them to invest some here so that we can grow some muscles..have see Ethiopia set up a chinses mobile assembly firm in Addis..maybe we can have tech transfer like they did with Americans..either way competing with Chinese directly will mount to nothing

Either Africa like it or not . Africa will developed , it might not be now , it might be the next 10 year or so. and the reason is not far fetched, it is simply becuse of ""cost of labour"" China and other part of the world will have developed enough to demand for more high wages and better palliative . so lots of company will want to cut cost and at the same time established new branches . this alone will force them to scramble for development in Africa as the new virgin ground . so country that has a faster workable and flexible policy will attract the best of them in Africa. Africa country with adequate infrastructure , sound business policy with a considerable market size will be first to consider. And if you notice , it has started happening . Ethiopia, Nigeria are getting lots of huge Chinese firm. Ghana even with her small market size is also fighting for her share hence the need to have the AfCTA capital . that Is an excellent way to become the gate way of Africa.
