Please nairalanders. A neighbor who lives in a single self contain room bought a generator. For thief not to steal the generator, how long will he off the generator before carrying it into the house. No insult please

Once it is turned off, it is safe. Just wait for the temperature to go down a bit because of the heat it may transfer to the room. No fumes/smoke of incomplete combustion (producing carbon monoxide) which is harmful to the human system.

Btw, it is still ill advised to keep PMS in the living room, so you still have to be careful to avoid stories that touch. Note, PMS is highly volatile and once the escaping gas fill up the room, there is no difference between the gas and normal cooking gas which is highly inflammable.

always switch off your gen by 10pm then get yourself a rechargeable fan for the sake of heat.

Why not buy chain and padlock to lock it outside?
