I've been tinkering on the thought of coming together of interested farmers to form a cooperative which will be registered with the CAC.

Most times, its easier to obtain funding as a group than as individuals.

So I've taken the initiative to bring a group of like-minded farmers and intending farmers together so we can pull resources together to make farming a more professional occupation.

OBJECTIVES

1. Create a central means of communication ( firstly via Whatsapp, then to meetings).
2. Register with CAC.
3. Issue IDs to members to have easy access of movement as essential workers in cases of limited movement such as recently the COVID-19 lockdown.
4. Seeking for funding from govt and private sources.
5. Acquire farmlands, tractors and farm inputs on cheaper rates.
6. Build a farm estate with shared resources for members.
7. Elect representatives to coordinate affair and set laid down regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Have a passion for agriculture.
2. Be based in Ogun or can attend meetings in Ogun. This is to make it easier for members to attend members and functions together.
3. Source of personal funding to set up on small scale. Tho we will seek for finance as a group for expansion purposes only.
4. Thrift savings and monthly meetings.
