I'm an Anioma son - Igbodo to be precise... and I'm so Igbo that I'll kill for my Igboness if I have to, and yes it's that serious. It's so sad that we are still having these pointless debate in 2020, Igboland is not defined by the artificial boundary scam landmarked by the fraudulent Nigerian government, let those useless efulefu's who want to claim Benin heritage keep fooling themselves (we know their problems), and they are so irrelevant and negligible as they come. The greater Igbo nation whether Anioma, Enugu, Owerri, Aro, Ngwa, Abakaliki etc will always forge ahead.

it seems everyone can see the handwriting on the wall except for the one Nigeria chorus group , Kemi oyiloyo and her crew .

it is not enough accepting our igbo heritage , Nigeria is presently in Coma and in the ICU , start planning for post mortem Nigeria

I know what I am saying. Aniomas are usually the first to identify themselves as Delta Igbo.

Anyway, your concern is noted.

I know of Togo and benin republic citizens who speak yoruba and no body is coming to nairaland at every opportunity they got to dispute their ancestry, there are fulanis from every part of africa in nigeria no one is trying to separate them, why is it that all of nigeria is all the time jittery and shaking like dry leaves during rainy season at everything igbo?

As an Igboman from Anioma part of Igboland.
I find this thread a little bit annoying! Why can't we make a similar thread about Afikpo Igbos, Ngwa Igbos or Nsukka Igbos saying they are proud of being Igbo? Or another Igbo group? It is clear that Nigeria's Fulani leaders agenda since time immemorial has been to balkanize Igboland beginning with carving out Igbo people at the periphery of Igboland and joining them with other groups or other states as minority there. In our stupidity, we allowed them to do it for way too long.

Every true Anioma person that didn't benefit from the politics of Nigeria or Bendel State knows we have NEVER hidden our Igboness. Of course there were a few people that were motivated by the Nigerian regime to come out and say rubbish about our Igbo ancestry in their desperation to kill Biafran unity. Those people have been relegated to the dustbin of history. Moreso, Anioma Igbos singularly paid the biggest price by the genocide of our people during the civil war. If we were not Igbos, WHY WOULD FULANI SLAUGHTER US IN OUR VILLAGES?

Again, our sons volunteered and fought bravely during the Biafran war. Nobody especially Col. Murtala Mohammed will deny their fear of Col. Joe Achuzia. I know threads like this are started by Afonjas to do their bid. But, when I see respectable monikers falling for their deceit I worry about the new generation that does not know their history.
A true son of the soil you are. Kudos.

Your being Igbo or not is inconsequential and of no benefit to any true and hardworking Igbo dead or alive. In your so called Delta state you are feather weight and rejected fetus of a mad BAT.... Elements who are neither here no there. .
Remain non Igbo and stopping encroaching on a culture that you are alien to. Go and bury yourself and resurrect with your true Identity.... As for now..you are a confused element, cultural wanderer and of no defined origin.....Nwanyi stop borrow borrow of a culture you so much despise....its abomination!!

The red colored is the problem foisted on Nigeria. Most Nigerians tend to draw analogy when one does not exist. Why should anybody make a similar thread about Afikpo Igbos, Ngwa Igbos or Nsukka Igbos saying they are proud of being Igbo? The so-called Afikpo Igbos, Ngwa Igbos or Nsukka Igbos , if such nonsense ever existed, have never come to any arena public or private to proclaim they not Igbo. The silly of not Igbo had publicized by certain goons from certain sections of Nigeria. I shall go out of my shell to say that majority of peeps from Anioma had stood tall as Igbo blooded people. Any Anioma son or daughter who publicly announces his/her being Igbo is on mission to teach distractors to stay clear of his/her zone.
