POLICE Gratuity by samisj4real(op): 7:44am On Apr 27, 2020
Good day NL's.

Please I'm asking this for a close friend of mine.

His father died 10years ago, he was a POLICE MAN.

I believe there's a certain amount government workers normally pay to the
deceased family so far he or she was still working with them when death came.

So Firstly, I'd like to ask: DO POLICE GIVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT TO THE FAMILY OF THEIR DECEASED?

secondly: IF AT ALL THEY DO GIVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT TO THE FAMILY, IS THIS MONEY STILL REDEEMABLE BY THE FAMILY AFTER TEN(10) YEARS?

I'll want opinions from you all that has idea regarding this.
Thanks.

if a policeman dies in active service ie while still in the force, a burial money is given to the family within 2 -3 weeks depending on the burial arrangement, after that, his gratuity depends on the strength of his next of kin. I advice that the next of kin use the "strategy of relentless pursuit" to get his gratuity and pension money released. Its not going to be easy, you go travel tire, fill more than 1k forms, snap passport tire, even in the end the money is released, na like 40-50% you go eventually enter your hand if you get luck. Generally policemen family dey mostly reap the fvckup wey dia father plant. so get his name and service number and start to hustle. Gudluck.

Thank you so much for your contribution.

The thing there is that, the gratuity hasn't been pursued by the next of kin who's my friend for 10years back now.

Na now him eye clear.

So after 10years, if he starts pursuing it now can he still get something to that percentage you mentioned above?

At all at all naim bad pass.

of course he can get something as far as he can prove that he's the next of kin.
