Please I need more clarification on this issue. Its true we learn everyday. May be I should have asked my Biology teacher back then in school but it never crossed my mind. I guess coronavirus is really helping some people to think out of the box. I just want to if there's a possibility of a twins to have different fathers.

I don't think it's possible, a sperm fertilizes an egg in an ovary which then spilt into two as a result, hence, twins are formed.

I Had the same mindset...you can also learn too. Just read that its very rare but possible as a result of delay in fertilization. The egg dont have to split bfor you have a twins. Two eggs can fertilize separately.

Yeah, exactly. that's why this is the only condition you can have a twin with different fathers. A egg can never be fertilized by 2 sperm!
