The issue is that you go out come back and infect the remaining at home or the innocent children in the house.

My dear, I know hunger is not easy, but t it is more easier to handle a hungry family than a sick family.

God bless Nigeria!!!

OK you are right and you have made valid points but what is the solution to this dilemma.

A popular story of Mr A who went with his children to harvest crops on his farm, suddenly the wind blew and a big Iroko tree fell and killed him and his children.

Mr B while at home with his children heard of what happened to Mr A. So Mr B decided to stay home with his children, so as not to get killed by a falling tree.

But the same wind still blew, and Mr B's roof caved in, collapsing on him and the children, in which they all still died.

To me, the federal government under President Buhari have tried her bid, even major palliative so far given to citizens across Nigeria be it Cash or food or medical supplies have been the sole responsibility of the federal government.

No state government can boast of any food bank or reserve anywhere not to mention giving atleast even if it is 10k as financial support to even 100 indigene of their state.
The 20k given to atleast 5000 citizens of some state across the country was done by the federal government.

State government should live up to their responsibility and citizens should also question their State Governors not only the president as common.

God bless Nigeria!!!

. It gives me a lot of concern to see the spread of Covid 19 in Nigeria..I am of the opinion that it will still spread like a wild fire in this country..The PMB should jhave locked the country down again for additional two weeks but the state governors disagreed with him. They disagreed because they did not want to spend money they have on this emergency. They wanted the president to give them money for the lock down..He however asked the governors to adopt what they like in their states. Many Nigerians want to go out because there is no meaningful palliatives for them...They have been abandoned by the politicians and our leaders Covid 19 is now increasing in Oyo and other states in Nigeria. If we think it is over we are DECEIVING ourselves..Nigeria may regret lack of will to fight it logically by locking down the whole country for a week or two and giving citizens robust palliatives. We should have learned a lesson in Spanish Influenza of 1916 to 1918..

Dont worry the media hype of the virus will end soon when other countries start relaxing lock down. Corona virus has a low mortality rate, most people who have it will get better.

@MansoryMX

How many times shall we tell you guys that Nigeria's case is peculiar

Focus on the number of deaths!

How many confirmed cases lead to death

How many are successfully discharged everyday compared to the number that die

Confirmed cases may be well up to 1 million! angry

MOST of the confirmed cases will recover with little or no treatment!! There is no cause for alarm at all!!!

There is cause for alarm because a lot of Nigerians have underlying health conditions. Anyway we ain’t praying for doom but a situation like this when you know what’s coming is worrisome.

US, UK and Italy has been on absolutely total lockdown since February and they are still recording over 10 000 new casis almost everyday and over 1500 death from each country daily

Imagine if there was no lockdown in those country ?

You don't underrate Covid 19 bcs its capable of killing millions in a country in a day if care is not taking and nothing will happen

Those who are crying for job I pray their job will safe their life when things get serious

Good day

Shut ur mouth, stay in your fucking house, let those that want to go out, go out. We are talking of hunger, u are talking of job. Get sense.

If this is done it's going to increase the level of seriousness of compliance of Nigerians. When they see people struggling for breath even with ventilators on they will know it's a serious issue

Your assertion is nice.

However I support that the lock continue to mitigate the spread of the virus. Because the more you have infected person, the more virus related death would be recorded even though it might be in low proportion.

God bless Nigeria!!!

Lockdown CANNOT continue because life has to go on.

Not everybody is at risk of dying from Coronavirus.

Those who are at risk should take extra steps to protect themselves.

MOST people with underlying health conditions know what they have been grappling with. I suggest they should remain on lockdown while the rest of us carry on with out normal lives.

SE is doing well in managing the Corona virus pandemic. At least, all the governors placed lockdown in place even when they had not recorded any case. However, Obiano seems desperate to change all that. I mean, where is the wisdom in removing lockdown now and asking markets to reopen?? Considering the vast number of markets in Anambra, Corona virus can spread like wildfire there. He should reverse that obnoxious policy now and allow only essential movements until further notice.

I'm happy seeing SE with such low numbers and I wouldn't like to see it change.

This is my major problem with NCDC, let people see what's happening, seeing is believing.
There's a woman in my compound who works at the general hospital on the island.
Two days ago, she said most big private hospitals in Lagos are now shut, she mentioned them all, I only remember st.Nicholas hospital.
She said over 15 doctors from private hospitals are now at the isolation centers.
She said our rich and top guns don't want people to know, that they have covid 19, so they checked into private hospitals and doctors and nurses got infected.
She said there's no more space at Onikan isolation center, she said government is opening more centers.
She said she's short of words, that our strong headedness and ignorance in this country is already costing us useful human lives.
She was really very sad, she's really stressed.
