SWITZERLAND, APRIL 27 – Nigeria is among countries labelled as ‘poorest in the world’ to benefit in a fresh $195.84 Million allocation from the World Bank as they battle against COVID-19

“The Steering Body of the Pandemic Emergency Financing Facility (PEF) announced today the allocation of US$195.84 million to 64 of the world’s poorest countries with reported cases of COVID-19. Special attention will be given to areas with the most vulnerable populations, especially in fragile and conflict-affected countries,” the World Bank announced in a press release sent to Today’s Echo on Monday.

Why do they continue to give money to the Nigerian Thiefs Government without accountability of what this money is used for and where this money is going? Is this some sort of International Corruption Scheme that Nigerian citizens are not privy to?

Never I can't be that dumb, In the lists or not it has no benefit for Nigerians , its like a added share to them since they have already shared the ones we have here ...do u remember a state gov who was almost remove and denied a second term for trying to stop security fund for his godfather has agreed ...where are the billions fund and materials palliatives ?...these leaders are demons not even prayer can change them.

What would you rather the WorldBank do in this case? In the end, true accountability is not really there job but the job of Nigeria's citizens. They can only hope that the money is put to good use and the people step up to ensure it is so.
