oh I see.. it was actually released 22 January, 2020. Still quite early. They have now included shear wall design.

errrrrm its more difficult than staad, cause of all the complex parameters you would input

Ehn Hakeem I wanted to ask. Pls your draughtsman, cause I've seen you mentioned it a few times. What's their price point? And are they open to jobs from outside to. Furthermore, how feasible is it for them to teach/train people who wants to learn from them.

Sure. ETABS is actually meant for buildings majorly. ETABS> *Extended Three-dimensional Analysis of Building Systems*

I've come to like STAADS too, thanks to you and other people I've learnt from .

Most times the software you started with has a way of sticking to you. I came across staadpro at my 400L in campus sometime in 2008 or so. Even though I've seen other software with better capabilities, I find it reluctant to learn. Has anyone here tried sofistik ?

well most of them are experienced and quite old ( though they use Autocad). But I can train you on the basics

I don't mind bro. I already can produce beam, column, slab and stair details in both AutoCAD and AutoCAD Structural detailing though. But I'll love to learn more.

It is a sister software called soficad that produces structural drawings (reinforcement). One of the best I've ever seen. Just incase you're into softwares hacking lol; pls help if you can download soficad. I would pay.

far better. Not comparable at all. This one is more like an add-on in AutoCAD. Generates BBS with their shapes automatically. Pls check if you can download it. I have the 2007 version but it has many limitations. I can share drawing outputs if you want
