phone gurus in the house, my uk used phone of four months went off yesterday while charging and would not boot again, the charging point gets hot. Pls help.

The charging ic is bad which is as a result of bad charger or u are charging ur phone with power bank

Get a new battery. Summary? Get a new battery. Sell the phone after you do. You will continue to have this problem with your phone.

There is nothing to fix but the batteries. Thereafter, sell it. You may also have a bad power IC; but whatever you do, sell the phone quickly.
