3 May annually is World Press Freedom Day (this was reached by UNESCO at their 26 C/Resolution 4.3). Do we have press freedom in Nigeria in particular and the world in general? Are the press still the 4th estate after the executive, legislative and judicial arms? Are press people now paid goans for the highest bidders in lying, spreading fake news or tarnishing images, policies and virtues? Do you have any friend in the Press? Kindly share with us. #May #Communication #WalkWithUs TLF

How can they have freedom when they keep churning out "vetted and censored" news or even writing for pay? If others should have, no pressman/woman deserves freedom. |
