Right now Kenya can ban cash transaction and the economy would be just fine.

Meanwhile, in Azania - nearly 60% of the transaction is cash.

Yes for kenya

Yes. The card and card readers cannot be as ubiquitous as the phone. I only use my card for online purchases. Otherwise, I do all my transactions through M-pesa. My bank account is linked to Mpesa - I withdraw money to my mobile money account - and use it to pay pretty much everything - send to pretty much everyone.

Kenya the ATMS - will soon be extinct.

Now with VISA M-PESA card - I can completely operate from M-pesa.

When I am in Europe - Mpesa still works - I send money and receive money.

lol... what Ghana is doing for the past one year now. Ghana just become the first Africa country to launch universal Qr code .it is now possible for all Ghanaians retailers to receive payments on their mobile phones without the need for the traditional point of sale device, our interoperability on financial transaction among all mobile network is more than five years old .
