Your Altima option is good, but that engine is a bit big. You may want to consider smaller Nissan cars like the Almera, Primers etc.

Get a Volkswagen Vento. Minimal cost of maintenance and fuel. When buying small cars for personal use, look at what is used for commercial purposes. Commercial drivers look at durability, cost of maintenance and fuel. So a Volkswagen Vento fits the bill any time. God bless us all!!!

It's common because its cheap to purchase and to maintain. Just thought i should tell you what will not give you troubles. You may be lucky to get a good for between 250k - 300k. Then you can love-vendor it with the money with you.

When Honda recommends palm oil, don't use groundnut oil or olive oil......

Part replacement must be oem, not Chinese or Aba made......

You are right.. I just made this point to my bro, who changed his mind from buying envelope to big daddy.
Although I want him to buy big daddy, but I feel he could get a good 2001 model and clean it up.

I understand he feels he'd be under pressure to change the car too soon if he goes for 2001 model

If you have a good mechanic, there is nothing to put you in that position. However, make sure you go with a mechanic whenever you want to purchase to assess and tell you the real worth of the vehicle.

If you want to buy a more expensive car for a cheaper price, you have to wait till middle/ending of MAY. By then, realities of post covid19-life would've set in especially with the resent job losses/sack here & there. Some people would be so broke & would wanna sell their cars just to survive.
This is the sad truth.
