I saw this bird in a very thick forest and it was kind of sick and tired. So I caught it, and I want to rear it. But my dad is saying I should get rid of it.

Pls who knows the name of the bird?
And I want to know maybe it is safe for me to rear it

Its a hornbill..pls take more pics from different angles so i can tell you exactly what type of hornbill. As you tie am so e go fit die. Find a cage for it

Ok seen the pics..i would say this is a Black and White Tailed Hornbill.Nigerian subspecies (Tockus fasciatus .semifasciatus) It could be a pet because it is gregarious, tame and vocal. Abeg find a cage and line it with leaves and grass..then go and google what it eats. You for leave am if this is how you want to keep it

This is a great catch, but if you know you can't take care of it, theres no need to start keeping it as pet.
