Government is not easing the Lockdown because the coast is clear or no more COVID-19 cases.
This is just giving Nigerians what they want because the fallout of this decision will be on them.
Come Monday, many people will go about their affairs with no care or fear for the virus. Some at this point still believe this pandemic is a scam,.....in the end, the virus will spread and curtailment will become onerous.
*When that happens:* Many people will be left to die, treatment will be according to status AND the masses will suffer because then, treatment will come at a cost!
Those thinking that by causing chaos you can force the government to lift the ban or those saying I would rather die of COVID-19 than hunger, and those saying 'no palliative, no stay at home', bear in mind that whatever happens to you will be a "your" problem not the Governments'.
The countries sharing relief items to their residents didn't just get there suddenly, it's the product of *a working "SYSTEM"* built overtime with continuous modifications!
Nigeria is not there yet and can't be overnight!
So, before you put yourself at risk, remember that these people you think you are fighting will steer clear of the virus (no hustling & bustling) and if by chance get infected will get firsthand treatment before 100 persons will be tested!
Putting yourself at risk is not the best way to fight, you can only fight now because you are alive and hale, once that changes (when you catch COVID-19) food, work, movement,....won't matter anymore!
*Therefore as you step out, consider these:*
_* Can the government manage a full-blown COVID-19 crisis?_
_* Can you afford the treatment?_
_* Can you even get the treatment?_
*COVID-19 is very much around, if you can help it Stay in......Stay safe....till it's Safe out there !*
*Don't be deceived and don't deceive yourself !*
*In the end, you are responsible for yourself.*

When people prioritise food above life, forgetting that feeding is useless to the dead. Let's protect ourselves from COVID-19 first then we'll have strength to eat.

We sought and fought to take our destiny in our hands, and the government granted it. Remember you don't live for the government, but for yourself and family.

Let's beware or prepare for the spike or backlash of new strains of COVID-19 this week. From the way we
1. handle Naira notes we collect as change from bus conductors, taxi dtivers, tricycle riders, street hawkers or traders.
2. How we buy and tear sachet water for drinking.
3. How meat, grains, garri, and vegetable/fruit sellers handle and deliver such to buyers.
4. How we count currency notes (money), still using saliva-wet fingers which could easily transmit the virus.

Reember, your life is like a drop in an ocean of Nigeria's 200 million population. Nigeria may not miss you, so choose to live for yourself and loved ones.

You are at liberty to personally extend your lockdown if you have nothing tangible looking for outside and protect your kids.

When will it be safe? How many Nigerians are financially stable to stay inside without a job? What are the support people like you and the government are giving to ameliorate the hardships? Have the virus given you a date it is going, or should everybody just sit inside and wait for cure while dying of hunger? And FYI nothing will matter to a man or his family when hunger strikes, and I believe you live in aso rock where there is security because if you live inside Lagos where you can't sleep or walk freely because you are afraid you will be robbed, you will speak a different tone.
