Other doctors in Europe and Arab nations are doing charity work, Nigeria doctors are demanding for more, instead of volunteering it to the poor.

Why are we like this?

those doctors were treated as humans before the pandemic.

you suddenly expect Nigerian doctors to function properly after many years of abandonment?

When people like you say this kind of stuff, you not only expose a massive level of ignorance of what is going on in the health sector, but you also practically end up handing out weapons for your irresponsible leaders to keep oppressing you. At times I even tend to think that the problem is more of you the brainwashed followers, than the leaders themselves.

Only in Nigeria.

I hear say 70% of doctors in Kano don run,

Same with Edo and Borno,
While doctors are protesting in Enugu State.

Nigerians invested their money on churches and men of God, instead of hospitals and laboratories, today the men of God are nowhere to be found.

Men of God are the ones to pay workers abi

These guys are really performing miracle with very little equipment esp in orthopedic. Where else in this wide world can one successfully so femoral nailing, DHS, ORIF, etc without C-arm to guide the orthopedic surgeon. Shout out to prof Thanni, Dr Adebanjo, Osundina(Alfa) and others.
The A&E dept is in shambles despite the selfless efforts of Dr Osikoya (former ARD presido) and his colleagues.
Radiology....nothing to write home about, the PPI with HAN is a total fluke as all the equipment from the CT machine down to the mammography machine are all refurbished and poorly managed.
The govt should listen to the plight of the doctors and other health workers because in all honesty, they are really trying with no much appreciation and/or compensation. I worked there for 4yrs with no promotion, I know some people dt have spent close to a decade without promotion hence doctors and other professionals are leaving in their numbers

Call it whatever. If having more money leads to increased productivitiy, you wont have some of the most useless legislators on this planet. If money leads to productivity. Places like NNPC wont be the cesspit it is.

Why will your govt be paying useless politicians who haven't done anything useful over N2m monthly hazard allowance, and then pay doctors who are risking their lives are being paid N5000 monthly hazard allowance?

The answer is the reason why they are going on strike.

Since they value politicians more than doctors in this country, let the politicians go and treat the infected patients
