When Ethiopian ariline was making losses - KQ was most profitable airline in the world. That was 2010-2012 - then in 2014 when Oil was at 140 - KQ bought oil futures - then Oil crashed. KQ was left holding oil future contracts for whopping 140 dollars.

KQ in 2010s was winning awards left right and center.

And it's still the most successful privatization of an airline in kenya.

KQ will do better than Air Nigeria. You can rest assured.

There are 3 airlines in SSA that are in serious league - KQ, SAA and ET. SAA is down and out. We will keep KQ longer - so we can compete with ET. Once we are done with Oil future - kQ will fly high again.

Now it's upon KQ to take over some of SAA routes in Africa post-COVID.

We will give them JKIA airport so they can survive.
