Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Chikwe Ihekeazu has warned Nigerians of another lockdown if some health guidelines continue to be violated. Speaking at the presidential task force briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja on Monday May 4, the NCDC DG admitted that new cases of Coronavirus may arise from non-compliance of health guidelines in some parts of the country where the total lockdown was lifted. This is actually a threat. The use of face mask can't solve the spread of this virus. The virus is already in the community and thousands if not millions are already carrying it. Let try our herbal medicine because the virus will never vanished with all these measures. If Nigeria goes on lockdown for many months, it won't solve our problems. Let find a cure locally and treat the virus like other normal diseases |
