Truly, good things don't last.

President Yar'adua was a good example of a real democrat, despite admitting openly to benefiting from flawed election, he was ready to extend olive branch to opposition political parties in his quest for a Government of National Unity.

A rare breed politician indeed

Really?

He spent more of his residual energy to undo his predecessor's policies than create his own.

But his major legacy, however, is the amnesty programme that restored peace to Niger Delta.

A leader who sees potentials before ethnicity

A leader who truly believed in one Nigeria

A leader who is not power drunk

He had to be persuaded to become a president

A leader who led by example

Sleep on...

Many of those steps he took is the very reason you and I are remembering him for today

He spent his energy doing the right thing and Nigeria prospered and was peaceful during his reign

One of the few Northerners who believed in Nigeria!!!
