1. South East Zone is only 3/5th of Igboland. Igboland covers the whole of South East Zone.
2. Rivers State: All of Rivers State excluding Ijaw and Ogoni areas. Bonny, Opobo is technically Igboland. They speak Igbo/Ijaw. That will be settled at the right time - Some of their ancestors were Igbo.
3. Delta State: Delta North Senatorial Zone (Anioma).
4. Edo State: Igbanke or Igbo Akiri: Alifekede/Ala Ifekede, Iru, Ohezenaka, Otobaye, Ugbeka, Oghada,Ekpon etc.
5. Benue State: The Umuezekaoha people in large parts of Ado, Oju, Obi and Okpoku LGAs.
6. Cross River: The Isobo-Igbo, Ohanne Edda and Ogurube people domiciled in Obubra LGA of Cross River State, the Agbo people in Abi LGA, towns like Igbo Ekureku, Itigidi, Igbo Imabana.
7. Akwa Ibom: Itumbauzo communities in Ini Lga, Umubueze Village in Ika LGA, Ohaobu Ndoki in Ukanafun LGA.
8. Kogi - We have Igbos in Ibaji and Igalamela/
Odolu LGAs such as the Eke Avurugo community, Nwajala, Umuoye, Ubulie-Umueze, Akpanya etc.
Most of these Igbo areas were ceded to states outside the South East or were curved out of the South East to not only make us small but to divide and conquer us by the Nigerian Government using the 'Justice Nasir Boundary Adjustment Commission' after the Nigeria/Biafra civil war.

We know our boundaries and not even an inch of our sacred land will be left out or forgotten. The so-called South East Zone as Igboland is an illusion, an artificial creation that can never supersede our God given boundaries.

Its just because of illiteracy, envy and childish behaviours that make people to hate Igbos. Its only in Nigeria you will find a group of people so obsessed about a particular tribe and post fake news daily. The worst part is when grown men deliberately post lies and division here in nairaland daily, especially those monikers with northern names which majority of them are from south western states. Its only here in nairaland such elements feel important, what happens here is a reflection of our society and how those with messed up thinking are allowed close to power. Just imagine giving those kind of monikers an opportunity to lead Nigeria, they will be worst than Buhari. They are so petty and evil, I don't take anyone serious who deliberately thrive on lies and deceit. Its only an uneducated person that reason landlock as failure.
