Since three days of relaxation, I have never seen anyone on the road showing symptoms of covid19.
As work start nobody has come and said oh my neighbors was affected. I saw it only on TV and radio . But I always pray me and my love ones will not get it.

hmm!

Is not a scam, but in Nigeria, if you are battling with respiratory problems, it's assumed you have Coronavirus.

And if you go for test, the result will show positive, because Coronavirus is all about respiratory issues.

Na wetin NCDC dey use update livescores.

That's why I don't blame those that say the virus isn't in Nigeria but fear those that say the virus isn't real.

common knowledge of biology should have tell you u don't use the word cure..... in the case of viruses when you don't have any prove...... we only use the word treatment

You're a lazy person if you sit there and expect the government to send you patients' pictures!
That should be the work of you and your fellow lazy journalists.
There's no country where the government snaps patients and send their pictures to you.
Documentaries are done by pressmen, with kind permission from the concerned government agencies and patients' consent.
Was it the government that snapped pictures during Abba Kyari's burial and sent to you??
People like you won't even volunteer to go close to the fence of the isolation centre, let alone go inside with a camera.

the same common sense that you assume you have should have told you that simply saying "it's a make up story" is far much polite and less indirectly insulting than "do you even read at all?". Nonsense!!!

my opinion about my belief regarding the corona virus rising cases in Nigeria is now a problem to you? You never start. I have no doubt that fake news in crisis like this will definitely be in the air just like the virus but, then again, there is no smoke without fire and also, there is always an atom of truth in every lie (in your case, fake news).

Piece of advice, try and filter the things that come out from the assumed brain you say you have before pouring it out. It will help you go a long way in life. Insulting people online or offline does not show your level of smartness. No dear. It only shows your level of advancement in life, which in this case, is still below the pyramid of advanced stupidity.

Respiratory illnesses have been around long before the SARS talk less of the COVID 19 virus. Its a shame our government create index cases and inflate mortality rate of people dying of natural causes just to attract monetary aids.

Save me from myself? You should be in the joke section and not on a section as this with such a delicate topic because (obviously), your brain is very incapable of handling it. Guess it comes with the child maturity you are potraying. FYI, i am not the op that posted or created this thread. I only made a comment which your "assumed common sense" should tell you either to frown at it or smile and not to throw irrelevant insults by taking advantage that Nairaland is a faceless forum. If my opinion hurts you, i guess you should take sniper becos, my opinion remains the same. I don't even know why i am bothered about what an unfortunate abortion gone wrong thinks about me in the first place. Kids of these days ehn!!!

they cant show you their faces because it is against the ethics of the medical profession. an individual's medical records are highly confidential. .....imagine seeing someone that you know in the video, that individual will be stigmatized for life.

I want to believe it's not a scam but then the numbers could be highly inflated.. because we have cases of false positives even with HIV testing. This explains the Tanzanian goat and pawpaw test coming out as positive

And if it's a scam, how do we explain the deaths in Kano?

They should lift lockdown abeg. Whoever dies dies. May the strongest beings survive angry

COVID is very real my people. Its not a hoax or scam. What i can tell you is that COVID is real. For one reason or the other, the strain we have here is not as fatal as what we have in the western world. Some people are asymptotic and alot have mild flu like symptoms.

I'm a health worker and I'm saying this based on what i have seen and not heard. Be safe
