Italy was hit hard by this virus specifically the elderly population. The reason for this isn't related to a compromised immunity in elderly people but rather because 2 years ago the Italian government rolled out flu vaccines to the elderly. It has now been established that the flu vaccine administered increases the potential to catch CoVid-19 AND increases mortality rates higher for those vaccinated. The link was also seen among US Naval personnel who are not only younger and physically more fit and healthy than the average person contract the virus. The entire crew of a US aircraft carrier was infected and the reason for this is because the Pentagon administers mandatory vaccines to all US Military personel.
