2) Gates Foundation purchased 500,000 shares of Monsanto stock, worth about $27.6 million.
What is $27.6 million in a portfolio of $36 billion?!!
$27.6 million is far less than one thousandth of the total foundation’s portfolio! BMGF gave $2 billion for eradication of malaria alone and recently $45 million for maize cultivation!
