Resident Doctors at the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Akure, Ondo State were seen protesting on the road for the non payment of their five months salary arrears by the Ondo State Government.


On the cardboard carried around by the protesters, one was written "We are frontline Health Care workers. Please pay our salaries!".

1) Poverty index of a State measures poverty and NOT wealth in a particular State.

For instance, if the poverty index in Kogi State is 15%, this doesn't mean that the remaining 85% of the people in Kogi State are wealthy.

2) A particular administration of a State is not exactly the same thing as the State just as the Buhari Administration is NOT exactly the same thing as Nigeria.
