More than two months after Egypt became the first country in Africa to confirm a coronavirus case, the outbreak appears to have reached almost every nation on the continent of 1.2 billion people.

Of Africa’s 54 countries, only one has yet to report a case of the virus: Lesotho.

There are 57,746 confirmed infections and 19,351 recoveries, according to the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.

Experts warn fragile healthcare systems in many African countries could be overwhelmed in the face of a severe outbreak of COVID-19, the highly infectious respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus.

When you go through the table figures here, you will thank God that Nigerian is blessing with large numbers of pastor praying everyday.

As at last night, the figure was still in favour of Nigeria.

Though pessimists and enemies of state have been pulling outrageous figures from their azzes since the day of first confirmed case.

According to experts, this disease takes 14 days to manifest from first day of infection and if unchecked, could lead to death.

If the jaundiced logic of pessimists is anything to go by, Nigeria would have lost half of its population to the disease.

Las las, Nigeria will survive the pandemic. Wishes of state enemies regardless.
