You don't rear a bird in isolation.
They do better among themselves.
Allow it to fly off, don't kill.

Obey your father, he knows better. Who knows if this is someone's grandmother.

Ok seen the pics..i would say this is a Black and White Tailed Hornbill.Nigerian subspecies (Tockus fasciatus .semifasciatus) It could be a pet because it is gregarious, tame and vocal. Abeg find a cage and line it with leaves and grass..then go and google what it eats. You for leave am if this is how you want to keep it
