In the presidential taskforce briefing on covid 19, yesterday, a question was put to the honorable Minister of Health about the plight of Health workers in Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki and possible solution. He responded by promising to look into it with immediate effect, but claims he is not aware of such and that they were probably state health workers. However a letter drafted to him by the NARD , as at April 27th, 2020, which was received, signed and stamped on 28th April, 2020, by the office of the honorable Minister, Federal Ministry of Health contradicts this denial. That the letter was received in his office,signed and stamped doesn't mean he could be aware of it.
Just like this letter, hundreds of mails are received too moreover the COVID situation may not have allowed him settle down in his office for a full working day.
If he's not aware,he's indeed not aware.

That's not to say that even with his admittance, urgent actikn would be taken.

This guy is either busy doing nothing or he is just a mediocre.
This minister is expected to set up a machinery that manages the health sector effectively. He should understand that simply relying on existing bureaucracy in the civil service is a recipe for disaster.
Ministers are supposed to be innovative.
