God bless. Honestly you just single handedly bail a brother out of problem. But is there a Nigerian used car you could recommend for me at the range of 600k?

What do you intend to use it for and the location?

Great. That means you'll need a car with fuel economy for intracity runs. Why not look at sedans.... With 600k you'll get a full options 1998-2001 C class Mercedes Benz.... reliable and easy on the pocket... A 9ja used 2003-2005 Honda Civic....very fuel efficient... Toyota Camry Fish 1999-2001 the 4 cylinder model... Though not as very fuel efficient like the other two but also reliable.... Specifically fishlight because of the headlights.

I actually used the 1999 Camry pencil light before and actually needed something very diff from it. I think I will prefer the C class. Do you have any or any idea where I could sort for same?

It's a solid vehicle if bought as tokunbo but please don't buy any V6 less than 2002 but more safer if you buy 4.6L V8 fitted explorer

Ford Explorer!!! Buy At Your Own Peril, That Car Nearly Sent Me To My Village. The Gear Is Too Fragile, I Repaired My Gear Three Times And Bought A Toks Gear All Under 2years Of Use. It Drinks Fuel Not Consume, I Used 130litres From Lagos To Owerri, It Even Consumes More Fuel Than My V8 W220 S500. The Advantage Of The Car Is The Engine Is Good With Ice Cold A.C And Very Spacious Interior And Good Suspension. But I Will Never Buy A Ford Product Again Unless Its Given To Me Free Of Charge.

There is no maggic there same engine in the Ford as the Ranger, F150, E-series what's more the Explorer is one of the best selling SUVs in NA

True i dont own a ford explorer but i have driven a navigator for 4 years plus and both vehicles came from same manufacturer.

If the explorer is bad i wonder how it is the best selling suv in NA for over 20years now?

I don't argue without providing reliable source. Your source is not reliable. Toyota Corolla is the vehicle that surpassed the Ford F150/explorer in sales volume.

I repeat my question, if the explorer isn't reliable how come it has held the best selling SUV in NA for 20years?

My source is not reliable. Justiniyke29 experience is not credible. We hear you. I have nothing to prove to you.

You're going to need a miracle to surmount the facts I have stated above. Or how volumes sold translates to reliability.

who dey follow you compare volume sold, Ford explorer started in 1967 to 2020 do the maths, it ran best SUV in NA for 20years are you telling me hundreds of thousands of people were stupid enough to keep buying same unreliable crap for 4 generations?

Ford vehicles are strong and reliable the explorer is only dieing because consumers have moved away from SUV to CUV and I can tell you the Escape and Edge are doing well here.

Enough said op Should buy what he feels like after all Ford doesn't forward commission to my account for each unit sold.

I don't know what you stand to gain from misdirecting the op.

Thank you so much for also expatiating
further on this. please bro, at the range of what I have what car do you think I should go for considering reliability and maintenance cost. I have already had 2003 Civic and C class in mind. Are you in support of the 2 or any contrary view?

The civic is wonderful because i have a neighbor who owns it and no complain from him whatsoever, though the car is small in my opinion and too low. The c class is also good and fuel efficient and cheap to maintain( the w202),it has a high ground clearance and the interior has a bigger interior to the civic, the engine is also more powerful.
i dont know much about the honda accord eod but its common so i guess it must be cheap to maintain.

that car had serious gear problem, i cant even explain the disgrace that car gave to me. Before the ford if there is anything called gear i dont know because it doesnt give me problem. The painful part was counting 120k plus to buy gear box and auxiliary and the gear still giving me issues. Also not counting the fact that it consumes more fuel than a v8 engine.

I have 2 Corolla at home same generation, 1 gives trouble regularly the other has been peaceful throughout.

from my research the peaceful one is from Canada and it's a clean title, the troublesome one is from US and salvaged. if I didn't know who and only bought the troublesome one won't I demonize corolla?

You had a bad experience with something doesn't make it bad. The same explorer you are afraid of I know people who use it and are happy and the truck variant (Explorer sport Trac) was personally used by a family friend for 5 years
