This is an appeal to the Federal ministry of health of Nigeria to please do not try to use Chloroquine Diphosphate on a massive clinical trial on Diagnosed patients of covid-19 in Nigeria.
There have been a research on this and there have been massive liver dysfunction and QRT elongation on ECG which means Cardiac(heart problems).
The website of the Ministry of health doesn't have a working email or phone number. The members of the presidential Task force are not reading research papers and are almost walking into a time bomb. This paper was only published days ago.

hydroxychloroquine is the more soluble form of chloroquine. it is the less toxic one especially in the management of malaria.
The thing is, for any antiviral effect to be seen, you need a higher dosage of CQ which means hydroxychloroquine doesnt suffice. high dosage of at least 600mg twice daily for a long number of days will be at least needed.
