Racoon:Privatisation is good but we should do it properly! We should be careful who buys these refineries, lest it be like the case of PHCN/NEPA that El Rufai and Atiku Abubakar privatised, sold their cronies who have no experience of capacity ot manage a Power company, only to strip the organisation of its assets and then turn around to be asking Govt to bail it out again, otherwise they throw the country into darkness! We must sell it to buyers who have the money and experience to invest into it and make it work, without further sibvention from Government.Govt must retain at least 10% holdings in it, as a matter of National security The License agreement should be very tight and not be like that of the DISCOS. If they dont perform to stipulation, the clause to revoke their License should be there in the agreement. |

SpecialAdviser:Those people are under a spell. But gradually hunger and poverty is curing their blindness and weakening their spell. They refused to see that unlike electricity that has transmission issues, Nigeria has quite an extensive pipeline system to transport refined petroleum products. We can even use trains and usual trucks to transport pms and others. We have a track record of refining oil in the past better than ever having stable electricity unless when NEPA was still ECN back then. Tribal manoeuvring for future presidency pushed those in control of the media to condemn Atiku. I trust a businessman far better to run an economy that needs very rapid growth to reduce the massive poverty. Than a man with apparently 150 gay and lesbian cattle that never increase in number. ![]() |

Realist2:Abba Kyari was killed by Covid-19, Buhari's has not been able to do anything since then. Not even make the usual bad decisions that his administration is known for. That is what happens when you sublet the Presidency to another person. ![]() |

bluefilm:. Nigerian Government paid Lecturers’ Salary on IPPIS with Discrepancies Behold, the withheld salary of the University Lectures has been paid today through the controversial IPPIS. Unfortunately, about 25-50% of the said salary has been slashed with no apparent reason yet. This is anticipated already, and that is what ASUU has been skeptical about. The ASUU members have been forcefully enrolled in the IPPIS without their consent, whether this is legally correct or not, I will leave it to the experts in the judiciary. Even though the Federal Government must be blamed for its lack of transparency and decency in addressing this matter, the ASUU Professors have their own share of the blame as well. I was vehemently against the idea of engaging University Professors in the conduct of INEC elections for whatsoever reason. This is exactly the kind of situation I was thoughtful about. INEC transient token to some of the University Professors partly contributed to the current situation of ASUU members. You sold out your integrity and respect for some chicken change that lasted momentarily, and now yearning for the government mercy on your salary. May I use this opportunity to caution Nigerians, very soon the Federal Government will come out and beat chest that they recovered some ‘ghost billions of money’ from the ‘ghost Lecturers’ bye enrolling them on IPPIS. DO NOT believe them, it is a blatant lie, they cut the Lecturers’ salary by nearly 50%, there is no such thing as recovered or saving money from ghost workers. Secondly, the Federal Government and its agents on this IPPIS saga (the office of the Accountant General of the Federation and the Ministry of Labour) owed Nigerians explanations on the following: 1. How did they managed to enroll all the Lecturers on the IPPIS without the latter submitting their data (BVN and so on), they have been asking for? 2. If they are able to enroll personnel on the IPPIS without them being physically present as they just did for the Lecturers, why wasting resources to mobilize their agents across the federation to enroll staff? Why the initial budget on such operation? Isn’t that a waste already? 3. Do the Nigerian government think they can get away with this unjustifiable salary reduction across government parastatals and agencies? Because I have heard complains about this inexcusable salary reduction across ministries and government agencies. 4. Isn’t that minimum wage increase claimed by the government a scam? 5. Is the Nigerian government really willing to improve the already declined educational system in the country? A friend told me that somewhere on this planet, he has seen some professors driving taxi just to augment their salary to feed their families. With all humility, I can't picture myself to that extent, I'll rather look for another job already. You can't give a shit and expect excellence! Let’s see how the child that denied his mother sleep can be able to sleep! Khalid Garba Mohammed Milan, 08/05/2020 |

| Re: Refineries Produced No Petrol In Past Eight Months – NNPC by Enwhen(m): 2:56pm On May 11, 2020 |
pyyxxaro:You should have ask this at first. Compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, CO boilers , utilities and lines are all working while purging continuous until the issue is fix... Most times the plants are shut down where there is no catalyst (aluminium cat) at the FCC plant but the CDU plant continuous to work with process flow to the storage tank instead of flow to CRU and FCC plants. A complete shut means either u want to abandoned, neglect...even if u want to sell the plant u must not shut down completely... WILL YOU BUY A PHONE THAT IS OFF , EVEN IF THEY TELL U ITS LOW BATTERY ?? so even if the phone have problem u will keep charging it incase u want to sell it or repair it...and the refinery is even more complex in that regard. |
| Re: Refineries Produced No Petrol In Past Eight Months – NNPC by pyyxxaro: 11:21pm On May 11, 2020 |
Enwhen:Everything you just said is FALSE There is no CO BOILER running , no pump , compressor , heat exchanger is working at WRPC. The only place working there is the Gas Turbine , because it’s gives light to NGC, PPMC , NNPC Housing Estate and some few areas around The whole Refinery is down , 95% of people that run the plant were dropped, these are the contract workers ... Water Treatment, Water water ( Utilities ) plants are running , it’s only the compressor water treatment uses that’s running .. The rest places are totally down . Go and confirm |

U want to tell about WRPC ??...lolssss.... Pls abeg go with ur yeye arguments...u will not learn |
