Last week, Rivers State governor Wike demolished 2 hotels and ordered the arrest and subsequent isolation of PHED MD for disobeying government orders on lockdown. Many said he actions were taken too far and call him emperor Wike while others commended him for taking actions instead of paying lip service. Do you think with his actions Nigeria is ripe for state police. |

See, those who have been commending Wike with this Wicked act are those who pushed the likes of Saraki into his political Oblivion. Imagine Wike controlling state police.. All opposition and those who have different opinions from Wike must relocate from the state be that. Buhari have not done half of this yet you people are calling him Tyrant. Anyways, Wike's new title is now Emperor

Using Wike (Rivers) as a case study, that's supposing that many of the governor is as resilient as Wike, not some feeble/puppet ones I will say that Nigeria is over riped for state policing!!! |

We are not ripe for state police.wike does not have powers to demolish the structures. He should have directed the police to seal the hotels and then go to court. Until we have independent institutions in Nigeria, some of these policies will not work |

Wike is right, the hotels management couldn't Obey the executive order thereby using them as an example to others.....  don't think any hotel would be open in Wike's state till after the COVID 19 Pandemic. I really love disciplinarian. .... Port people are very stupid so he's feeding them with what they deserve |
