Are you saying they have to travel to Abuja before you can process their salaries? What is the importance of online platform then? Now you have not paid April salary to workers on 11th May in tertiary institutions despite the fact that they enrolled in IPPIS. You better say the truth.

To be candid my brother, this government is not sincere. How can they claim to have paid university workers April salaries? The truth is that they only paid lecturers who were yet to enroll on the IPPIS platform as a result of the presidential directive that they be paid. Those who have not been paid two months were paid on Friday. But lecturers already enrolled and other categories of staff as at today are yet to be paid. This is the truth of the situation and not saying everyone has been paid.

Again the talk of saving money at this time is premature as far as the universities are concerned. How can you know how much you have saved when you have not paid everyone consistently for a number of months? May God help us.

Truth be told I love this country no matter how battered and uninhabitable our leaders make it seem, but this right here is the very last straw.

Let this covid-19 of a thing become a thing of the past first, I'm definitely taking my services out of this country. I've had enough.
