Abia state is cursed, see the root cause of the curse. Abia state need to break this first before any form of development could be seen in Abia state.

[s] B2mario:[/s] Chai..I don suffer. So which time has fear ever allowed you to give me an invitation? Abi you dey no fear face? Please show this house one evidence of such invitation. I am the one that invites people and they will start running, not the other way round. Whatever that you see me doing to Abia was what you sowed. There was a time you were going from thread to thread disturbing Anambra threads. It was when I came out for you that you started acting like you are a gentleman. You are at the core of the reason why chino attacks Abia state at every turn. Abia state has moved from another level of shithole to another, you have nothing left in that state, it's one of the reasons you stopped fighting like you used to do. Let's continue ![]() |

The Abia roads do not look appealing maybe because of poor camera quality or lack of precision in the road works. This one is Obikabia road in Obingwa shot with a drone

osisioma flyover last month. Hear it would be completed June. hope it's true this time around Arab contractors are very close to this area of the enugu -ph road, once those projects are done the entrance to aba would be as it should be

| Re: . by Nobody: 11:35am On May 12, 2020 |
the ingenuity of we igbos isn't ever ending! Prince Arthur Uche of BEYOND CLOTHING ABA brings this PPE to the public. the city of aba on any given day produces maybe thousands of clothing and leather works, the fabrication yards at ph road and osisioma produces machines(agricultural and others) ,industrial tanks, sea going dredgers, boats, trailers, boilers and many others. As a final year student of mech engine, I and some friends learnt a lot from those guys during our machine design/fabrication-than from lecturers. giving these peeps and others like them a metallurgical complex, steady power and exposure to modern practices would go a long way to improve local content and industrialization

| Re: . by Nobody: 12:00pm On May 12, 2020 |
A brief note on industrialization in the east. during the 60's Micheal okpara built the golden guinea brewery umuahia, a brewery that today employs thousands in that city. in fact, when the brewery and Abia ceramics folded up under ouk of Abia state, umuahia lost a very large part of its highest spenders (thank God golden guinea is back) In the 80's mbakwe took a loan and built the international glass factory aba (the produced windscreens, glass plates, glass bottles and virtually any glass item). Not only did he build the factory, he convinced she'll to build a gas pipeline from owaza to aba. It's because of this pipeline that aba hosts the biggest multinational companies in the east-thats a mark of a good leader. A governor of Abia state leased international glass force to Indians who looted and shut it down, but that gas pipeline has been expanded twice since the 80''s and Is a factor why aba still attracts big companies. It's an irony that the SW copied this template to develop the industrial base in ogun, while the governors in the east does nothing

eduj:A huge part of the problem is that there is no all-encompassing vision and economic outlook for the entire Alaigbo, unlike what we saw in the time of Dr M I Okpara! Every Igbo state is doing their own thing....some relatively well and others stumbling about in the dark! The governors see themselves as emperors and are loving the power and adulation that goes with it! They would bluntly refuse to delegate any form of economic decision making to any centralised body! Mbakwes' Imo was well on its way to becoming an industrial and economic miracle.....and then Buhari happened! ![]() |
| Re: . by phoenix911: 4:02pm On May 12, 2020 |
eduj:This is the way to go, instead our so-called leaders looking inside, they will run to Chain begging for arms. Just look at incredible work of art my people is this not better than the one from China? |
| Re: . by Nobody: 4:56pm On May 12, 2020 |
Afam4eva:Okezie has learnt well from Rochas. That was the same tactics Rochas displayed in Imo - only that he started his project massively - that deceived people into voting him for 2nd term. I can see a China project from afar. Give those road two years and won’t know them again. However in Aba’s case half a bread is better than none. The truth remains that PDP must be destroyed in that state for another party. |
| Re: . by Nobody: 4:59pm On May 12, 2020 |
XANDERBOY85:Imo and Anambra witnessed a lot of massive infrastructural uplift. But not just the east alone, virtually every state in the 2nd republic performed wonders until the destroyer Buhari seized power. Shagari/Ekwueme had a vision to industrialize Nigeria but the coup by Buhari ended that plan. |
| Re: . by Nobody: 8:32pm On May 12, 2020 |
UdechiHD:the roads built with rigid pavement in aba has withstood 4 rainy seasons now and counting, the pic you would see with this post is done with the same Tech. Granted roads like umule has developed failure points, but the majority of the roads done now like samek, mcc, ochefu, omene, owerri and many others are still standing strong. roads being done now in aba like eziukwu, osusu, ojike, milverton, immaculate and others are based on the rigid pavement technology -so I see them lasting well into the future. As for the party talk, we should look more into people and not their party .otti of apga and ogah of apc where once pdp and henchmen of t.a.orji.They fell out when they didn't get the primary ticket. otti hijacked apga from ofomba (who teamed up with ikpeazu) and ogah took over apc from prince ikonne. The point is, they all are of the same gang-who would work would do so irrespective of party. on a lighter note, whomever becomes Abias next governor would inherit a more developed city than what aba was 2015!!!!!
