1. About 2-14 days. Could take longer

2. That depends on a lot of things. Usually people are asymptomatic and may recover without additional treatment. So it's not an instant death sentence
Thanks bro, the more reasons why i doubt all these fresh cases of the virus...
Where are the new cases getting it from?
Who is infecting them?
.
After close to 2months of shutdown we should not be recording such huge numbers of fresh cases..
By now those infected should have been known, treated or probably die

Thats the thing with community transmission bro. Now imagine someone has the virus and moves from asymptomatic to symptomatic and was probably treating normal fever or cold not knowing it's covid and has spread it to others. Now before the person will get suspected and tested, he would have spread it to many people who depending on their body will also move from asymptomatic to symptomatic and also spread it to others. That's why asymptomatic people are very dangerous. And Nigeria is behind the curve cos we aren't effectively testing, tracing, isolating and treating. To make it worse people are now moving about sad.

As long as we still don't know the virus 100% we'll be having issues like this. I mean US also still records 20k new cases daily and they've been on lockdown since march, also new cases are popping up in China as well

I know I wouldn't like that at all. At the beginning when it seemed we were on top of the situation i had hope it wouldn't become an epidemic here yet but now without a sense of trajectory, we never can tell sad. And with high risk states coming up it's going to be hard to reopen schools. I am also tired, been at home since the beginning of the year cry
