Hi Everyone... Does anyone have any idea how ECTS is calculated? A friend is trying to apply for a school in Germany and they require him to fill the fields. Please see the attached if you have an idea about the highlighted fields in yellow. Thanks...

nepapole:I believe an average 3 year degree course is 180 ECTS, which translates to 60 ECTS per year. Based on this, a 4 year course would be 240 ECTS. You can also do your research, but that's the information I have. |

What is ECTS and how can you convert Nigerian CGPA to ECTS? European Credits Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) are standard ways of relating the volume of learning based on the defined learning outcomes and their associated workload for higher education throughout the European Union and other collaborating countries in Europe. A typical Bachelor’s Degree will consist of 180 or 240 credits, whereas a typical Master’s Degree, will consist of 90 or 120 credits, with at least 60 credits at the second-cycle level.
