Here it is

For 1. Kirchoff voltage law was used
2. Step up
3. No .. step up is designed to increase the supply voltage while step down is to decrease it.. so dey cannot be used interchangeably

This is not very clear, show the formula applied and let your working be clear enough

Primary voltage (Vp) = 110 V
Numbers of primary turns (Np)= 1400 turns
Numbers of secondary turns (Ns) = 3610 turns
Secondary voltage (Vs) = ?
But Vp/Vs = Np/Ns
Vs = (Vp × Ns)/Np
Vs = (110 × 3610)/1400
Vs = 283.6 V

We can use the Vs gotten above to calculate Secondary Current (Iload) using the resistance (load) given..
Load = 3.9 × 10³ ohms
That is; Vs = Iload × load
Iload = Vs/load
Iload = 283.6 ÷ 3.9 × 10³
Iload = 0.073 A

To calculate primary current (Isource); we use the expression below
Vp/Vs = Iload/Isource
Isource = (Iload × Vs)/Vp
Isource = (0.073A × 283.6V)/110V
Isource = 0.188 A

Isource = 0.188 Amperes and
Iload = 0.073 Amperes
