Primary voltage (Vp) = 110 V
Numbers of primary turns (Np)= 1400 turns
Numbers of secondary turns (Ns) = 3610 turns
Secondary voltage (Vs) = ?
But Vp/Vs = Np/Ns
Vs = (Vp × Ns)/Np
Vs = (110 × 3610)/1400
Vs = 283.6 V

We can use the Vs gotten above to calculate Secondary Current (I_load) using the resistance (load) given..
Load = 3.9 × 10³ ohms
That is; Vs = I_load × load
I_load = Vs/load
I_load = 283.6 ÷ 3.9 × 10³
I_load = 0.073 A


To calculate primary current (I_source); we use the expression below
Vp/Vs = I_load/I_source
I_source = (I_load × Vs)/Vp
I_source = (0.073A × 283.6V)/110V
I_source = 0.188 A



I_source = 0.188 Amperes and
I_load = 0.073 Amperes
