As part of efforts to cushion the effect of sit-at-home order, Pan Ocean Oil Corporation (Nigeria) Limited, operator of the NNPC/Pan Ocean Joint Venture), has donated several food items to some of its host communities in Edo and Delta states to support government palliative scheme for the vulnerable.

While Nigerians continue to stay safe at home and explore alternative ways of remaining engaged with work, Pan Ocean remains connected to its communities at OML 147 by supporting Nigerians to curb the effect of the pandemic on the livelihood of the communities in Edo and Delta states as well as to support the government in the fight against the pandemic.

The company also commended the effort of federal government and the various state governments in their bid to not only find solution to the pandemic and treat patients that have contracted the disease, but in their daunting effort to provide palliative to the teeming populace.
In each of the ten communities in both states, several food items like rice, indomie noodles, beverages, amongst others were distributed to less-privileged and the vulnerable.

The benefitting communities and stakeholders include; Obi-Anyima Community, Urhonigbe Community, Owa-Alidinma Community, Ekuku-Agbor Community, Agbor-Alidinma Community, Ndemili Community, Oobi of Abavo Kingdom, HRM Uche Irenuma II, Obi of Owa Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Efeizomor II JP, Dein of Agbor Kingdom, HRM Ikenchuku Benjamin Keagborekuzi, Okaevbo of Urhonigbe Community.

Pan Ocean’s contribution to families and communities in Edo and Delta states align with its deeply rooted commitment to impacting its host communities positively and to support the state government in the fight against COVID-19 at this difficult time.
