These governors have started again. Wait o, is it wrong for the FG to set up something meaningful, like invest in Agriculture, small scale manufacturing plants, provision of some amenities etc across the 36 states and the FCT with this loot? The choice of investment will be specific to the respective needs of states and will be managed and coordinated from the centre. I tell you, this will create an everlasting impression and positive impact from the Abacha loot. Must we always divide into our personal pockets ![]() Nigeria is doomed to fail, I swear |

The Governors are absolutely right. All revenues accruing to the federation is my the constitution payable to the consolidated revenue account of the federation where all tiers of government must have their share as prescribed by revenue sharing formula. What Federal Government has been doing is to hijack most of these Abacha loots and use it for federal government expenditure alone without allowing it to enter into the federation account for distribution to other tiers which is wrong because Abacha looted the collective revenue of the the entire country. |

Now that Covid -19 has affected the economy, our lazy, clueless kleptocratic Governors will go after any sign of money. Fact though is Abachas loot belong to all Nigerians so the Governors are right. Problem is they also want to dip their hands in the pie for themselves and not for the good of their respective states |

I laugh in Spanish! So that they can sharply and corruptly re-loot the looted funds. Manna has just fallen from heaven, it is true they should partake in it. But only the few sane ones will let it affect the masses. As usual, the rest will soon be history. |
| Re: Nigerian Governors Demand Inclusion In Recovered Loots’ Sharing by asobo: 7:39pm On May 14, 2020 |
I am in agreement with the state governors. The money was taken out of the federations account. Thus, the money doesn't belong to FG alone but the entire tier of government. |

eldoradoxx:In a sane clime, this money is not to be shared. We have a very poor culture of financial management and prudence in Nigeria. Sharing the money to states paves an Expressway for re-looting by state governors. The best approach is to leave a legacy with the money across the states. Create an alternative value addition that will be managed and controlled by the FG in conjunction with the states. If l may ask, can you point at any positive achievment and long lasting impact created by any State as a result of funds gotten from all the recovered loot ![]() |

Reminds me of what Amaechi did to GEJ (ShareExcess Crude Account) and that is why Nigeria is where it is today. |

Essenza01:Please maybe I don't understand the ideology. Someone should kindly explain the concept of feeding students at home. Seems insulting to our collective sensibilities and even worse than looting from my point of view. |
