JOHNSONSOLAFUNMI:
This is sensible, the president shouldn’t have the power to share abacha’s loot to whom he likes, only the National Economic Council should be able to, which state governors are part of
When did NEC become a revenue sharing agency?

They can only make a case that the money should be paid into the federation account since it’s a revenue to the federation and not the federal government. However, the agreement signed by FG and the US is a major obstruction. US and other countries helping us to recover the loot won’t agree to such agreement. FG can however engage the states when negotiating for future recovery of looted funds.

Please maybe I don't understand the ideology. Someone should kindly explain the concept of feeding students at home.

Seems insulting to our collective sensibilities and even worse than looting from my point of view.

This is the point where being a Muslim or Christian or Yoruba or Igbo doesn't matter... What matters is the sharing formula...

Relooting the loot... Too bad
Re: Nigerian Governors Demand Inclusion In Recovered Loots’ Sharing by michoim(m): 7:53pm On May 14, 2020

I support the governors here because generally its the federation's money and secondly, most looted from states and local govt.

Therefore is should be shared accross all tiers as well.
Re: Nigerian Governors Demand Inclusion In Recovered Loots’ Sharing by ACE1010: 8:19pm On May 14, 2020
All they know is sharing and looting.... nonsense governors huh cry cry
Re: Nigerian Governors Demand Inclusion In Recovered Loots’ Sharing by Senudi96(m): 8:19pm On May 14, 2020
Na Alooter Continua wan happen so oh. Why are these Governors asking for their share? The Presidency has said the funds are going to be used to finance I think about three priority projects.
The real corruption in this country happens in the states and not at the federal level as most people think.
Re: Nigerian Governors Demand Inclusion In Recovered Loots’ Sharing by Nobody: 8:21pm On May 14, 2020
Heffalump:
These governors have started again.

Wait o, is it wrong for the FG to set up something meaningful, like invest in Agriculture, small scale manufacturing plant, provision of some amenities etc across the 36 states and the FCT with this loot? The choice of investment will be specific to the respective needs of states and will be managed and coordinated from the centre.

I tell you, this will create an everlasting impression and positive impact from the Abacha loot. Must we always divide into our personal pockets huh

Nigeria is doomed to fail cry
One would develop high blood pressure thinking about how useless they've made Nigeria become.
