Few extremist? There are many who support this type of move. Ozzy Etomi a Nigerian on Twitter once made a nasty comment about her son on twitter and that post got over 3k likes by other women.

Other people including some women started attacking her for such comment and she had to delete it. So please oh, it's not few. Don't downplay it.

Those cultures where they kill female babies obviously are living in stone age, maybe they live in the Amazon forest.
