and somewhere in Zamfara and Osun state, the Chinese are collaborating with some of our looters to mine our gold. had it been that Nigeria is not as richly blessed the way we 're coupled with bad leadership overtime, we would have been worse than Somalia |

But we still pay the same price or even higher for transport even with the falling oil price. So what's happening in Nigeria? Gov't stand up and do your work. Too much exploitation here |

Nigeria should learn to improvise. They should trade those cargos with nation's that need them and have what Nigeria needs also. |

B3sty:Now the oil is useless. I just wish they channeled that funds into irrigation and ranch farming. While establishing a grass and hay company in the south. Good jobs would have been created from the sales of Hays to the North and sales of cattle and other diary products to the south. We nor serious as a country. |

Esseite:The ships have always sailed through the stormy seas to deliver our goods. No matter how stormy it will be, we will come out of it and we will not be overwhelmed by the storms. It is everywhere and most of the western countries feeding us news like they are not perturbed by the static economy, they will hear it after the whole pandemic. Just late last month, USA has recorded a number above 30million citizens that have filled for unemployment. And the government must assist them till the economy balances. They too will spend their foreign reserves as well. This is a global issue and we should wish our dear country good. |

FREEMADNESS:We don't have leaders what we have are thieves. If there's anything I have learned from watching fear factor it's that people will do anything for money no matter how stupid or difficult. Rather than channel this stupidity into economic stability and independence by paying people decent amounts for projects that actually get finished and provide benefits to the citizens we have things getting abandoned halfway and the money for it is gone. If Buhari had even an ounce of integrity he would have ordered for abandoned projects nationwide to be demolished or sold so they can be turned into something useful with all the money he borrowed. I sincerely believe that the discovery of oil was one of the things holding us back. Rather than be forced to actually make things work for both their benefits and the citizens oil money and deals can be made without citizen's input and the money can be pocketed without stress. |

/ Glut or no glut, oil price is not controlled by supply and demand. It is the guys who don't want to take delivery but with massive equity controlling oil prices. Call them bankers, hedge funds, investors or worst, high frequency algorithm...they are sharks feeding on the back of rednecks doing the actual work. You could have 100m barrels of unsold crude in the tankers and price will still snap back to $50. The talking heads will then jump back infront of the camera to explain why. It is all chess game being played by the megarich. That's how I see it. The unsold cargoes have been there since last month. How did price move back up to $30/barrel? By next week, those holding Futures contracts who do not want delivery will liquidate (or be forced to liquidate) their positions resulting in exaggerated moves in prices one way or the other. / |

Let oil kukuma lose total value. At least the air and water pollution in Niger Delta will reduce. Maybe fishing and farming can return there one Day. We had 60 years of oil money to diversify. We cannot blame outsiders for it. |

I think the government will now start thinking of how to help small business grow. If you start a Small business you face an uphill task. Right from the registration Then you have to cough out incredible amount for rent ... Due to unstable power you have to factor in the cost of running a generator. The state and local government will tax you multiple times. Environment, sanitation, development, signboard etc. You will have to pay vigilante for security etc.. All of this without you even making a profit. If you had wanted to employ 7 staff, you will reduce to 2. This country really needs to wake up. |

InvertedHammer:Lies. It is impossible to unite all refiners and buyers of crude and make them stop buying crude at once. There is no conspiracy here, however there is now room for refiners to control prices of crude for a very long time by ration buying. No one will let their storage empty before refilling again. Once it's down by 15%,they refill their storage. That way, they will control crude pricing for a very long time which in itself Is impossible as well. |
