They don't support state policing and restructuring because they feel threatened that it will free the South from their domination. Yet, how can a man based in Abuja police a remote village in Katsina or Cross Ikom. Government has to be close to the people to have an impact. When they become tired, the Northern masses will push for restructuring of the system.

Have you not seen how the 'FEDERAL POLICE' has fared in locking down states to interstate travel...how 'successful' they have been in keeping the borders shut. What if these travellers were terrorists?.

Nigerians courtesy of Covid have been given yet another clear reason why insecurity reigns. If after Covid Nigerians donot demand for restructuring seeing all these failings of the present system then we utterly have no hope.

Buhari has failed and he is still failing. Jonathan failed.

Nobody should be sympathetic towards GEJ's and Buhari's leaderships. They both rode on the back of popular support in 2011 and 2015 respectively. However, they both frittered away the Goodwill they enjoyed before being elected with their actions and inactions.

It is sad!
