First thing I noticed about the freezer was the silent operation. It has an efficient compressor which performed well even under stressful conditions like low voltage for example.

The interior light is still working and it’s been almost a year. As trivial as this seems, I’ve used some freezers whose lights go bad in less than two months.



This is a chest freezer so as expected; I haven’t noticed any freezer burn on food products because it doesn’t automatically defrost like upright freezers.



As a matter of fact food remains frozen for up to seventy-two hours after loss of power supply.


That is provided you don’t open the freezer more than once or twice.



Apart from the fact that it doesn’t self-defrost, it also has the fast-freeze feature. I’ve noticed that it takes within one to one- and- half- hours to freeze foodstuff including the ones at the top.


And it freezes from the bottom to the top. Any Freezer enthusiast would understand how important this is.



Another impressive aspect of this Bruhm product is its easy clean feature.


The silver walls do not retain stains like blood stains from meat. There is no need to use sponges and soap when a wet foam would suffice.



Does This Freezer Guzzle Power?

This chest freezer has a power consumption rating of about 400w. Depending on your taste, this could be okay. But for a freezer I’ll say that it is pretty energy efficient.

bruhm products are quite good (for their prices), but there are lots of improvements to be done

Yes some of their freezers don't freeze from the bottom up. But it's a good brand.

I don't have good experience with the brand. Bought one 2 years ago, after 1 and a half years, it stopped working but it was still under warranty. Called their office and it was fixed for me. Just last week again, it is not working again, now it is no longer under warranty. I just wonder why a freezer will be unrealible like that

My Bruhm freezer packed up after just 5 months and their office just kept tossing me up and down till I gave up. Won't recommend this deep freezer for anyone.

I have had experience with BRUHM FREEZER twice and none was a good one.

1st was when I bought my first freezer, it didn't work and had some issues, not cooling, shocking etc...
I had to return it to the seller and he exchanged it to another brand.

My second experience I thought that was just a coincidence I got another one from another seller day 2 I started experiencing different issues sparks, shocking, not cooling etc...

That was when I knew it was a brand/assemble Issue.

I won't recommend BRUHM FREEZER to anyone, the company should work on themselves.

And stop putting out bad products out there for people.

What was the duration of the time you brought the freezer home and you plugged it in for cooling?
Also duration you loaded up the freezer for cooling after you brought it home,

Reason why I asked

A freezer moved from one location to another place

Needs up to 24 hours for gas to settle,

Then another 24 hours for it to work without anything in it,

Then you start filling up gradually,not gbam at once .

Thermocool 519L chest freezer for sale, just in case anyone out here is interested.
I’m selling because I wanted to replace it with a standing freezer, I realized standing freezer is better for ice making as water packs can easily rest on the steps inside compared to chest freezers it’s hard to keep the water packs standing.
