Dr chikwe ihekweazu has done a poor job in handling covid 19 cases in nigeria. Despite being given an open cheque by PTF and receiving numerous grants and donors amounting to several millions of dollars from various international bodies and countries he has done a not-so-impressive job as NCDC director His worse crime is Nigeria mediocre testing capabilities. He possesses Good diction and handsome features and other tools not needed to combat coronavirus. He may have a decent career as a medical doctor but he has failed so far in handling this pandemic 1 Like |

NoIgboSoundTueh:Hope you know the money was donated to the FG and not NCDC. Our abysmal testing capability is largely in part due to lack of labs and even the labs that we have don't have enough equipment or manpower to process thousands of tests daily. Imagine atm, across Nigeria, there are only 25 labs capable of testing for covid 19, and up to 15 states or more do not even have a testing centre to test for covid 19. Even Lagos with a population of 20m just has 4 labs and cumulatively, they are probably able to process just about 500 tests a day, whereas in US a state might have up to 100 labs with adequate infrastructure able to process thousands of tests daily. Its not NCDC job to be building labs, setting up machines in the labs or employing the qualified people needed to man these labs. Our lack of infrastructure is due to severe failure of the govt over the decades to invest in healthcare leading to the severe decay, rot and handicap currently observed in the Nigerian health care system. 2 Likes |

Your complaint is empty... you just typed this just because you want to create a thread. The money went to FG so say another thing he did wrong. 2 Likes |

Op, go through the rubbish you wrote. Now, go through it again, but this time do it very slowly. Find someone around you and show them this rubbish you wrote; observe their reaction after reading this post. Now go to a mirror and take a long hard look at yourself. Be honest, are you proud of your brain? |
