I think it's because the average Nigerian does not really enjoy reading or writing. Even when Nigerians drop reviews on those aforementioned e-commerce websites, they are usually very short and devoid of helpful details.
It's most anger that tends to educe a lengthy rant from most people.
I also think that it would go a long way if the sellers will ask for reviews after they have fulfilled an order.

I find it difficult to leave reviews. One of the sellers whom i dropship my orders from on ebay mailed me that if i dont drop reviews for his products hes gonna include invoices with the original price of the item and tell my customers to get to ebay and drop reviews. Na so i start beg am. grin

Why don’t we leave reviews?

My own experience was a very bitter one. I was carried away by reviews when making a choice for a broker for online FOREX TRADING. The broker with the best review ended up scamming me of thousands of dollars. Honestly it heart breaking.

He ran away with every one else's money too. embarassed

The query is already solved. The thread appearing on front page will only attract trolls and idiotic comments. Not every sensible discussion needs to go there. I’m beginning to realize the more infantile the subject matter the more front page worthy it is. There are still 1,001 ‘what should I do to get him/her back?’ topics which are suited more for front page, not this.

The thing is, it's a forum and discussions as such are actually meant to give helpful advice to members but these days most of those stories are 'cooked up'

He didn't generate reviews himself. It was a very well verified review by what the call the Forex Army. The trick used by the scammer was that he capitalised on the near excellent review of a Forex firm, bought the firm and used the advantage of their well established review to scam. That was what happened.
