Here's my comment when everyone was jumping on the supposed cure

You know Nigerians love to jump on the bandwagon but before you all get carried away, this herbal drink is not proven to be a cure.

Madagascar has used it on less than 200 people (a near inconsequential figure for anyone familiar with clinical trials) but have exported it to us to do a human trial on us grin. There is limited safety information at the moment, no information about trials in animals. Our only conviction is because Madagascar has zero deaths therefore covid organics works, an 'evidence' reeling in circumstantiality. Be aware Madagascar had a successful lockdown, injected billions into their economy, but have convinced you it's only the herbal drink that made all the difference.

Madagascar is trialling their drugs on Nigerians. And we are paying to be part of that trial, whereas western medicine on the other hand will pay us to be part of their trials...hmmm. With Madagascar's big tourism industry down in the dumps due to current restrictions on foreign travel, the little nation has become an exporter of pharmaceuticals. Someone is all shades of clever. wink
If it doesn't work, I hope, at least, its not poisonous.

Are you sure they demanded for payment or the corrupt elements are plotting the payment angle cos we were told they gave it out to all African countries for free including Nigeria, where this wonder government can spend billions feeding school children at their parents home, nothing is beyond them. The good ones in the government should double check if Madagascar is actually demanding for payment.

One of the donors can pay for this. We should encourage our fellow africans. This is the only way we can restore our dignity as blacks. We should believe in ourselves. This is way too cheap compare to the amount of money the govt has spent so far. One state governor even requested for 15billion.

Hope my country might end up rejecting this herbal cure cos is too cheap for covid-19 cure.

Yes, Africa should grow and develop itself but Africa shouldn't scam themselves selling a herb that doesn't work nor has it has not been clinically tried to be sure it does.
Madagascar has 1 death, 2 current critical cases and 189 Active cases which is lesser than the total number of recovered which is 114.
Vietnam has more than 3 times the population of Madagascar and has tested 11 times more than them it has Zero death with a higher percentage of recovered people.
Rwanda with a lesser population than Madagascar has tested more than them and had more cases than them and has more recovered cases with Zero death.
Ethiopia with about 4 times the population of Madagascar has tested 12 times more than them, had more cases than them and had zero death.
What I am trying to say is if we want to fall for any herb scam then it should be to Ethiopia, Vietnam, Rwanda, Mozambique, Eritrea etc but not Madagascar.

I have never for a day support their Herbal drug not because na Africa thing but based on records and statistics.

1. There are not the only country with no Covid-19 death (though, they recorded their first ystday)
2. They are still having positive cases.
3. Rwanda is in Africa too and they never record any death even without using any herbs
4. Some European countries too never record any death.

Their herbs may just work like normal drugs countries all over the world are using to fight the virus.
