PTF On COVID-19 Arrives Cross River State On Fact Finding Mission by References: 11:47am On May 18, 2020
A delegation of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 has arrived Cross River State on a fact finding mission.

The team led by Omobolanle Olowu arrived the Margaret Ekpo Airport in Calabar and were received by the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Beta Edu who is also the Chairman of the State Task Force on Covid-19.

In an interview, Olowu has described their visit as “Scoping Mission in Cross River”. They are to visit the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH and the Treatment Centre in the State.

The team is expected to also visit the Obong of Calabar and possibly the Governor of the State, Professor Ben Ayade after interaction with members of State Task Force on Covid-19.

Cross River State has not recorded any positive case of Covid-19 since the index case was reported in the country on February 27, 2020.

Kano State have seen that's there is no financial gain in increasing their cases.

They have stopped increasing and Corona-virus have stopped killing hundreds of people.

Any test kit they bring should be tested on them first

Before they start sharing corona and start their usual practice of churning out fake positive patients numbers at midnight, the Governor should quarantine them for 14 days

Whatever cross river state is doing to maintain zero infection since index case is working.

What are they doing that Lagos isn't doing? Or what are they not doing that other states are doing?

Are we not in the same Nigeria?

PTF should visit nearby Kogi State on similar fact finding mission.

The 14-Day quarantine can be waived for them.
